Q: How old does my daughter have to be in order to play?
A: Your daughter must be between the ages of 10-17.
Q: Will my daughter have to try out in order to be on a team?
A: No! Although she must pass a level 1 assignment to be able to play in a bout.
Q: How much is it to register my daughter?
A: The total amount would come up to $160, this includes a uniform jersey, an end-of-season banquet ticket, skater insurance, a rule book and first month dues. Monthly dues will also be $25/month.
Q: When does your season start and how long does it last?
A: Our season starts the first Saturday in October and runs through June.
Q: We're a league looking into playing you gals. Do you have a travel team?

Q: How would my daughter get a place on the travel team?
A: Your daughter must pass a level 3-4 assessment, the coaches than decide if she's ready for a place on the team!
Q: Can my child ref or NSO for your league?
A: Yes! If your child has any interest in being an official or non-skating official please go to our contact page. He/she will have to be between the ages of 10-17 to register.
Q: Where does the travel team travel?
A: The travel team travels to Canada and nearby states such as Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan and other parts of New York.
Q: What are the rules of Roller Derby?
A: We recommend your daughter learns the rules of Roller Derby before joining. To fill up on your rules just go to www.WFTDA.com/rules.
Q: How likely will my daughter be at risk for an injury?
A: Although this is a full contact sport, there are a lot of rules to keep the game safe and clean! It is a requirement to wear the protective gear that is mandated by WFTDA and the JRDA. Such equipemnt includes knee pads, elbow pads, wrist guards, a mouth guard and helmet.
